Quick Check: test the numbers behind your idea

See the sales your idea needs, the cash your numbers would generate, and the assumptions to verify next.

Your numbers stay on this device; save a project file to continue later. Quick Check screens one product or service at a steady monthly run rate, before tax and financing. It is not a feasibility study, a forecast or investment advice.

Help: common questions

Where does my data stay, and how can I continue later?

Planner Quick Check runs in your browser, and the project inputs you enter stay on your device. Save your project as a JSON file on your device, then open that file in the tool to continue later. Keep the file somewhere you can find it.

Should I choose “My estimate” or “Unknown”?

Choose “My estimate” when you have a provisional figure, and note its basis and date. Choose “Unknown” only when you cannot give a reasonable provisional figure. “Quote” and “Published source” identify other source types; none of these labels means the tool has verified your source.

Is missing information the same as zero?

No. If you cannot give a reasonable provisional figure, mark the input “Unknown” and verify it before relying on the screening result. Enter zero only when it genuinely represents the item in your scenario, not as a substitute for an unanswered question.

What does “monthly cash before tax and financing” mean?

It is a scenario figure before tax and financing effects. It is not your final take-home cash or a forecast of your bank balance. Those excluded effects need separate consideration when interpreting the result.

What kind of business scenario does Quick Check cover?

It covers one product or service at a steady monthly run rate. That scope does not represent a changing launch period, seasonal trading pattern or multiple revenue streams with different economics. Keep those limits in mind when describing your scenario.

Can I use the fictional example as evidence for my business?

No. The clearly fictional example lets you explore the tool; its figures are not evidence of local costs, demand or likely performance. Use your own sourced assumptions and verify unknowns. Quick Check is a screening tool, not a feasibility study, forecast or investment advice.
